Barbara is Of Counsel at AlpinumLaw. She is a Swiss attorney-at-law and holds an Executive MBL of the University of St. Gallen. Recently she completed a CAS of General Management for Board Members at the University of Bern.

Since more than 20 years she works in an international business environment. Experienced through working, living and studying in multiple jurisdictions, she brings along a truly global outlook, diverse practice and familiarity with the interface of law and business. Major fields of expertise are corporate & commercial law with a special focus on international transactions, joint-ventures, emerging markets, energy and project work as well as corporate governance, labour law, project finance, regulatory matters, compliance, sanctions and trade control matters.

Barbara has a broad and long experience as a general counsel & corporate secretary of international energy infrastructure projects managing the legal department and advising on all legal matters pursuant to project and business needs, including setting up and structuring the organisations. Before she worked for a Big Four as a consultant and in the Office of General Counsel for more than 10 years  years in Switzerland, London and including four years in P.R. China and Hong Kong.
